Presidents day weekend from Sunday noon to Monday noon is the traditional time for the "Thon" - this is the 48th year running. This year they are only holding it live in Boston, but many of us do not feel confrontation hanging out in a theatre for 24 hours with unmasked other folks at this time - maybe next year, but not this one. So instead, I am running a mini-Thon at my house. It will be hybrid - live for those who can make it over here to my house and virtual for those who can't.

The movies will start around 12:30 this Sunday, 2/20. And I will show a movie about every 1.5 to 2 hours. If we can't stream it we can still watch together. Links to the movies are shown below. Here at 22 1st Ave., Waterford, I will have chips and salsa, popcorn, and we will likely order out for pizza and/or grinders sometime after dark. There will be chocolate and vanilla/strawberry ice cream and maybe hot chocolate and hot apple cider. Drop by when you want and stay as long as you want. I often do work while watching a film so if you need to bring your work with you.

And if we can all stay awake long enough, other films or sci fi TV shows are an option.

And there are cats and walks by the water, so if you think you might drop by, let me know so I can make sure to have on hand the foods I know you like.

I will send out a Zoom link tomorrow. Bring your ray-guns and your Star Trek or Star Wars pjs. We have sleeping bags, mats and cats for all.
